We are very excited to introduce a brand new site feature: the project spotlight. We are planning on giving a television or movie project of John the ‘spotlight’ the coming months. This will give us the opportunity to update the related gallery category and information page(s) of the site. This idea was inspired by my friend Frederik from HelenMirrenArchives.org. Our first spotlight is “Aloha“, which released on Blu-Ray/DVD earlier this week in the U.S.A. John co-stars alongside Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Bill Murray. The movie is written and directed by Cameron Crowe. The blu-ray screencaptures can be found in our gallery and we also updated our information page and video archive with related content.
We continue our gallery updates, as promised before. We finished merging our galleries and today we will update you with the 2008-2009 public appearances. We replaced most images with better quality and added lots of additions.
You might also have noticed that our gallery doesn’t have any intermediate pictures. From now on, we use a new script that will allow you to see the full size image after clicking on the thumbnail. It’s resized to fit in with your browser and it’s more mobile friendly for all devices.
John and his wife Emily Blunt attended the Rise Nation Fitness Studio’s Los Angeles Grand Opening on Friday to support personal trainer Jason Walsh. The high quality images have been added in our gallery.
John briefly talked to People magazine during the event and discussed his marriage and parenthood:
“It’s really that we just got lucky,” Krasinski, 35, told PEOPLE of their relationship. “It’s one of those things, I’m having more fun now than the day I met her, and it’s pretty wild. I don’t know the formula to it, but I think she’s hilarious, extremely talented, and I’m definitely her No. 1 fan.”
Blunt, 32, and Krasinski are entering their second year as parents, following the February 2014 birth of daughter Hazel, and it’s a journey that has changed “everything,” Krasinski said.
“I think when you commit your life to anything like that it changes everything. All of the cliches are true,” he said.
A former Office co-worker may have put it best.
Krasinski said: “I remember Steve Carell said to me, ‘If your old life was your favorite book, then after you have a kid you are picking up a totally different book that is now your new favorite book.’ ”
John and his beautiful wife Emily Blunt attended the Annual Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grants Banquet earlier this month at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel. John took the stage alongside actress Sarah Silverman to accept the grant on behalf of Outfest, San Francisco Silent Film Festival, University of California Berkeley Film Archive and International Documentary Association. We have added the high quality images in our gallery.
Writer/Director Cameron Crowe has announced the Blu-Ray/DVD and Digital HD release of “Aloha” on his official website TheUncool.com. All releases will feature some amazing extras. Crowe has also announced that the soundtrack of the movie will be released on Vinyl.
We are extremely proud to share all the details for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Aloha for North America. First up, Aloha will look great, as it is a 4K digital transfer. We think the Extra Features are some of the best we have put together, starting with a full-length behind-the-scenes documentary, The Untitled Hawaii Project: The Making of Aloha, which runs nearly 75 minutes. The disc is also packed with Deleted/Alternate/Extended Scenes, including the 16+minute Original Opening, an Alternate Ending, and handful of others. There are extras dealing with space, local Hawaiian slack-key master Ledward Kaapana, a Gag Reel, and so much more! The DVD will feature the full documentary and the Gag Reel. Both will be available on August 25th. The Digital HD version will be out earlier on August 11th with some alternate extras

In ALOHA, a celebrated military contractor (Bradley Cooper) returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs – the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii – and reconnects with a long-ago love (Rachel McAdams) while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog (Emma Stone) assigned to him. From Academy Award®-winner Cameron Crowe, the writer-director behind such films as Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, ALOHA also stars Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.
