Writer/Director Cameron Crowe has announced the Blu-Ray/DVD and Digital HD release of “Aloha” on his official website TheUncool.com. All releases will feature some amazing extras. Crowe has also announced that the soundtrack of the movie will be released on Vinyl.
We are extremely proud to share all the details for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Aloha for North America. First up, Aloha will look great, as it is a 4K digital transfer. We think the Extra Features are some of the best we have put together, starting with a full-length behind-the-scenes documentary, The Untitled Hawaii Project: The Making of Aloha, which runs nearly 75 minutes. The disc is also packed with Deleted/Alternate/Extended Scenes, including the 16+minute Original Opening, an Alternate Ending, and handful of others. There are extras dealing with space, local Hawaiian slack-key master Ledward Kaapana, a Gag Reel, and so much more! The DVD will feature the full documentary and the Gag Reel. Both will be available on August 25th. The Digital HD version will be out earlier on August 11th with some alternate extras

Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for John’s upcoming movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi“. The movie will be released on January 15.
Variety – The film is based on the Mitchell Zuckoff’s book “Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.” It centers on the six members of a security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi from an attack of Islamist militants on Sept. 11, 2012 — the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The film stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, Max Martini, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma. Filming began in April in Malta

THR is reporting that John’s upcoming movie has expanded it’s title and the release date has been announced:
Director Michael Bay’s geopolitical drama has an expanded title, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and an official release date of Jan. 15, 2016, Paramount announced Tuesday.
The project, previously titled 13 hours, is based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s book about the 2012 attack on an American compound in Libya that left U.S. ambassador J. Christopher Stevens dead. The story centers on the special forces team that attempted to rescue Stevens.
John Krasinski, Dominic Fumusa, James Badge Dale, Max Martini and Pablo Schreiber star in the film. Erwin Stoff is producing 13 Hours, which has a script by Chuck Hogan.
13 Hours opens over the long Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, a prime corridor for moviegoing. Last year, Clint Eastwood’s war-themed drama American Sniper did huge business over the holiday.
In a twinned move, Paramount confirmed what’s been rumored for months, that Star Trek 3 is titled Star Trek Beyond (the studio announced the news one day after director Justin Lin tweeted the full title). The movie’s release date of July 8, 2016, remains unchanged.
“Aloha” is released in theaters nationwide in the U.S. starting today (!). So be sure to go and see it this weekend!

Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow) and John Krasinski (The Office) voice a couple who inherit a rundown circus and a mysterious box of animal shaped cookies, which magically turn anyone who eats them into an animal.
eOne anticipates a release in late Q4 2016 for the film which also features the voice talents of Sir Ian McKellen, Sylvester Stallone and Danny DeVito.
Co-Directed by Tony Bancroft (Mulan) and creator Scott Christian Sava, Animal Crackers is produced by Sava’s Blue Dream Studios, in cooperation with George Lee and Marcus Englefield of Storyoscopic Films, Jamie Thomason, and Leiming Guan.
The deal was negotiated by Poonam Sahota on behalf of eOne, and Ildi Toth Davy and Michael Favelle for OEE. Favelle also serves as an executive producer on the film.
OEE will unveil the first work-in-progress animation from the film at the Cannes Marche in a private screening.
